授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives

パラグラフライティングの基礎を学ぶ．パラグラフ内の論理構成の技術をもとに，記述?比較対象?原因-結果などの内容構成法におけるレポートやリサーチペーパー作成のための基礎練習を行う．このためにブレーンストーミングやアウトラインプロセシングなどの新しい技法を学ぶ．このほか随時正書法上の重要事項を学習する．Provides opportunities to develop fundamental understanding and use of paragraph writing.  Emphasis is placed on filling the gap between understanding the structural organisation of a paragraph/discourse and creating it in the way a target language user does.  Activities include formal practices on describing events, comparing and contrasting objects, and stating cause and effect.  They also include individualised writing derived from the students’ knowledge, interest, and experience.  Orthographical skills are also taught.
