授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives

This course will focus on developing communication skills, with an emphasis on listening and speaking strategies and skills. Controlled short conversations and listening exercises will be used to help build confidence among the students. After working in controlled situations, students will be encouraged each lesson to practice speaking and do paired conversations beyond the controlled topics while developing and advancing their speaking and listening skills. Listening practices will focus on various topics, both general and academic.   This is a required course as stated within the curriculum guidelines for graduation from the Department of Tourism and Transnational Studies.
