授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives

This course will build on the skills developed during the first semester. This class is conducted in English so students will practice speaking, listening and the use of visuals in English, but the focus of the course is on reading and writing skill development.. Improvement of reading skills and strategies will provide students with new perspectives and knowledge that can be used as content for their writing. The writing skill development will review paragraph writing and then focus on essay writing. There will also be an introduction to APA citation and reference skills and opportunities to practice these skills which be  very important for students in their second year courses.
